Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Travel Advance your career in healthcare by providing vital diagnostic support as an Imaging professional specializing in CT. In this contract role, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver precision imaging services, ensuring high-quality patient care in a dynamic clinical environment.
Desired Background and Skills:
Current certification in Computed Tomography (CT) imaging (ARRT or equivalent) Valid state licensure in Radiologic Technology (as applicable) Proven experience operating CT imaging equipment in a healthcare setting In-depth knowledge of imaging protocols, patient safety regulations, and radiation protection measures Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, physicians, and support staff Strong attention to detail for accurate imaging and data entry Ability to adapt quickly to changing workflow and patient priorities
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform CT scans following physician orders and established imaging protocols Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and communicate results to radiologists and referring clinicians Maintain patient records and update imaging databases with accurate documentation Monitor and maintain CT equipment, performing quality assurance checks as necessary Adhere to all infection control and safety guidelines within the imaging department Provide compassionate patient care, addressing questions and concerns with professionalism
