Job Description
IDEXX DevOps contributes to the success of IDEXX employees and customers by providing scalable, innovative solutions and technical leadership. As part of a global Information Technology organization, our DevOps engineers are embedded with product teams — enabling fast, reliable delivery of the software that helps veterinary professionals around the world deliver exceptional care. VetConnect PLUS is IDEXX's platform to deliver veterinary practices a single, unified view of diagnostic results across in-house analyzers and reference laboratories — trusted by practices around the world to inform patient care every day. As a Principal DevOps Engineer II, you bring deep technical ownership to the systems that power VetConnect PLUS — shaping the direction of its AWS and GCP infrastructure, GitHub Actions pipelines, and Datadog observability alongside a close-knit agile team. You lead from within the team: writing production infrastructure code, mentoring engineers, driving technical decisions, and solving the most complex delivery and reliability challenges.
