Job Description

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Angular JavaScript and Java Developer for a hybrid contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.

The Angular JavaScript and Java Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications using Angular JS and Java frameworks. This role involves building the User Interface, integrating with backend APIs, and ensuring high performance and security of applications.

Responsibilities:

Build and maintain responsive web applications using modern frameworks and technologies

Develop user interfaces with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices

Implement server-side logic using Node.js, Java, .NET, or Python, and manage APIs (REST/GraphQL)

Design and optimize relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB) databases

Connect front-end and back-end systems, ensuring secure and efficient data flow

Write unit and integration tests, troubleshoot issues, and ensure code quality

Optimize application performance and scalability

Implement security best practices (OAuth2, JWT, SSL/TLS)

Ensure code quality through static analysis and peer reviews

Package and deploy applications using Maven/Gradle

Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

Work closely with architects, product owners, and QA teams

Participate in design discussions and provide technical guidance

Requirements:

• Experience building and maintaining responsive web applications using modern frameworks and technologies
• Experience developing user interfaces with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices
• Experience implementing server-side logic using Node.js, Java, .NET, or Python, and managing APIs (REST/GraphQL)
• Experience designing and optimizing relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB) databases
• Experience with unit and integration testing, troubleshooting, and ensuring code quality
• Knowledge of application performance optimization and scalability
• Understanding of security best practices (OAuth2, JWT, SSL/TLS)
• Experience with code quality through static analysis and peer reviews
• Experience packaging and deploying applications using Maven/Gradle
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

Desired skills:

Bachelor's Degree in a technical field

Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour
