Job Description

We are looking for a Mobile Applications Engineer to support our mobile app suite of products and develop automation tools to ensure quality control on high end medical mobile applications. The ideal candidate will perform thorough mobile application usability tests and develop a scalable automated test suite to leverage against our offerings. The candidate will focus on ensuring that mobile applications are performing at a high level and that the user experience is the best in class. In addition to usability testing, the candidate is required to learn about the competitive landscape in which each of our apps are available and ensure that our apps exceed them by making recommendations to the development team where appropriate. It is a technical quality assurance role with a path to software development for the right candidate. In this role, the candidate is expected to contribute to the automation testing effort and write unit tests. Our apps are directly involved with quality of life with medical device use and operate both in one cohesive cloud ecosystem and also in on-premises institutional use. The ideal candidate must be incredibly detail oriented to be successful in this position.
Job Description:
Carry out all aspects of mobile device and integrated hardware testing Validate that both software and hardware perform to established guidelines Work collectively with team members to solve defects and suggest improvements Create and execute automated programs and manual test scripts where appropriate for regression, installation, and performance/stress testing Monitor and communicate with developers any defects that arise when completing manual or automation testing

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or technology Development experience leveraging services architectures Proficient with
Microsoft Office Desired Requirements:
Knowledge of one or more of the following - Swift, Objective-C, JavaScript, Python Experience with source code repository tools like Git Experience testing peripheral devices, graphics/imaging software Canfield Imaging Systems is the world-leading developer of specialized photographic systems for medical practices, institutions, research organizations, and pharmaceutical suppliers. Canfield offers comprehensive benefits to its eligible full-time employees. These include paid days off, medical, dental, and vision insurance, may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, and a 401(k) plan with employer match (currently set at 50%). The anticipated salary range for the position is $65,000.00-$85,000.00 annually. This is dependent upon consideration of multiple factors when determining a base salary such as a candidate's experience, education, and current market conditions. If the role is eligible for full benefits, it will be discussed with you during the interview process.
