•PySpark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog Azure Synapse Analytics Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 Azure SQL / Cosmos DB Lakehouse / Medallion Architecture / Data Mesh SQL & Python/PySpark Azure Security & Networking Terraform / Bicep & Azure DevOps CI/CD Data Governance / Purview / Collibra Key Responsibilities Own and drive enterprise data architecture roadmaps across Azure Architect high-volume batch, real-time and streaming data platforms Lead enterprise data modeling across analytics, BI and AI/ML domains Define data governance, lineage, cataloging and quality frameworks Design security and compliance architecture including RBAC, encryption, Private Endpoints and Key Vault Lead client architecture reviews, steering committees and executive presentations Manage and mentor distributed onshore/offshore architecture and engineering teams Drive legacy-to-Azure modernization and migration initiatives Establish CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code and DevOps practices Govern Azure data platform cost optimization and FinOps Conduct architecture governance, risk assessments and HLD/LLD reviews Evaluate emerging Azure data and AI capabilities, including Microsoft Fabric Preferred Experience Life Sciences Clinical R&D experience Veeva CTMS implementation and integrations EDC, CTMS or eTMF implementations GxP / HIPAA / GDPR regulated environments Teradata, Netezza or on-prem SQL to Azure migrations Data Vault 2.0, 3NF and Star/Snowflake modeling C-level / VP-level stakeholder engagement Expected hours: 40.0 per week
