Job description: BASELoad helps healthcare payers reduce costs and improve processes through intelligent data services, tools, and programs that enhance the accuracy of provider data. We specialize in EDI adjudication, 1099 filings, and market data analytics — all built on a foundation of service, data, and process improvement. The Opportunity We're seeking a Senior C# Developer to take ownership of key development initiatives for our flagship application, SureHit Now . In this hands-on role, you'll design efficient systems, optimize SQL databases, and build robust, scalable solutions that power healthcare data processing. This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact in the healthcare industry — helping payers and providers reduce waste, improve accuracy, and ensure fair, timely payments. What You'll Do Develop, maintain, and enhance C# applications supporting healthcare data operations. Design and implement resilient, scalable, and performant systems following SDLC and release management best practices. Optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and schema refinement. Work with Entity Framework , Core, WPF/XAML/MVVM , and XML to build maintainable, responsive applications. Collaborate with team members on requirements, timelines, and integration strategies. Participate in Agile/Kanban ceremonies. Apply SOLID principles , Dependency Injection (DI) , and separation of concerns to deliver clean, testable code. Contribute to reusable frameworks that improve productivity and maintain consistency across applications. Use Git-based version control and participate in structured code reviews. Required Qualifications 4-8 years of professional experience in C# development . Strong understanding of relational database design , T-SQL , and performance tuning . Experience designing and implementing complex systems using .NET , C# , SQL , and Web APIs . Familiarity with API design , microservices , and distributed systems . Experience with event-driven architecture , and asynchronous processing . Proficiency with Entity Framework , Core , WPF/XAML/MVVM/XML , and Git-based version control . Understanding of DevOps , CI/CD pipelines , and security best practices . Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in debugging and optimization. Effective communication and collaboration skills in a team-oriented environment. Preferred Experience Domain-Driven Design (DDD) or microservices .
Web technologies:
IIS, ASP.NET, Blazor, SOAP/REST. Experience with Kanban methodology or Agile workflows . Familiarity with healthcare data and 837 claim formats . Knowledge of cloud-native solutions , infrastructure as code , and SOC 2 compliance . Core Competencies Excellent written and verbal communication, both technical and non-technical. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Capable of planning, prioritizing, and executing tasks efficiently.Job Type:
