Job Description
About Dakota Pump Since the 1950s, Dakota Pump has partnered with municipalities to design and manufacture high-quality packaged pump stations and water and wastewater systems. As part of Impel Company, we combine the strength of a growing organization with the values of a close-knit team. We are committed to delivering engineered solutions, exceptional customer service, and products that keep communities running. Position Summary The Application Engineer plays a key role in designing and delivering custom municipal pumping systems from concept through startup. This position combines engineering, project management, customer support, and design. You will work directly with consulting engineers, contractors, municipalities, manufacturers, and our outside sales team to develop complete pump station solutions that meet customer specifications and project requirements. Unlike many application engineering roles, Dakota Pump Application Engineers create their own equipment layouts and manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks, giving you ownership of your projects from initial concept through production. Compensation depends on experience. The successful candidate may be eligible for relocation assistance. Dakota Pump/Impel Company does not provide H1-B Visa sponsorship.
