$60.00 - $69.50/hour We are seeking a Software Test Engineer to support software development, system verification, and validation activities within a regulated engineering environment. This temporary contract opportunity is ideal for professionals with experience in Python, software testing, automation, and system verification testing (SVT) who are passionate about delivering high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop, execute, and maintain software test protocols, test scripts, and automated test solutions. Perform System Verification Testing (SVT) , software validation, and defect tracking. Analyze software and system requirements to ensure complete test coverage. Design, develop, debug, and test software applications using modern tools and methodologies. Document testing activities, results, change requests, and technical reports in accordance with established procedures. Support Bluetooth and RF testing, test method development, and validation activities. Maintain accurate project records and development efforts within approved tracking systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, workflows, and product quality. Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulated industry requirements. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. 2-4 years of relevant experience with a BS degree, or 0-2 years with an MS degree. Experience with Python , software testing, test automation, and verification/validation activities. Knowledge of GitHub, Bitbucket , and software lifecycle management tools. Experience with Bluetooth, RF testing, and test execution/documentation in regulated environments preferred. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and technical documentation skills.
