Position Overview We're seeking a Software Quality Testing Specialist for our Testing Center in Lansford, PA. As a Software Quality Testing Specialist, you will have two core responsibilities. First, you will assist the development team with testing new software, patches to existing software, and other items requiring testing. Second, you will study our training videos, documentation, and other materials and become the go-to technician for internal support and upgrades. This is an hourly, full-time, on-site, non-exempt position with hours Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (subject to change). This role is W-2 only, and candidates must be legal U.S. residents and able to pass a criminal background check, a government security investigation, and a drug test. Key Responsibilities Working with the development team to test software Maintaining internal environments Actively monitoring production and development applications Resolving issues within your purview and escalating them when outside it Reporting bugs and user experience issues Internal help desk functions (web-based chat, help desk tickets, phone calls, and fulfilling order requests. Install and support BVH technology (Physical Servers, cloud servers, embedded devices, network equipment) Regularly install and operate our software product and report its quality to developers Set up and operate all aspects of the product, troubleshoot general hardware, software, and network issues Install and support office technology (desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, A/V, network equipment) Catalog and organize all lab equipment and IT inventory Required Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Science, Computer Science, or related field, or 1-year of related experience Ability to self-manage and prioritize tasks Have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and punctuality Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, in a customer-facing environment. Salary The estimated salary for this position is $20.67 per hour. This salary is not guaranteed and will depend on experience and qualifications.
