Job Details We're looking for a QA Engineer to help us raise the quality, reliability, and confidence of our software releases as we expand across Salesforce, backend services, data products, and AI-powered product experiences. This role will own and evolve our quality assurance practices with a strong emphasis on test automation, release validation, regression coverage, and AI-assisted testing. You will help design and implement automated tests for Salesforce applications, APIs, data workflows, and AI agents.. You'll also help the team adopt modern AI testing tools and practices to improve test coverage, speed up QA cycles, identify edge cases, and validate complex AI-driven behavior. You'll work closely with product managers, Salesforce engineers, backend engineers, and leadership to ensure our products are stable, secure, performant, and ready for customers. This is a hands-on individual contributor role for someone who enjoys improving quality systems, finding issues before customers do, and building repeatable testing processes that help a fast-moving product team ship with confidence.

Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain automated test suites for Salesforce applications, web interfaces, backend APIs, data workflows, and AI-enabled product features. Develop and execute automated regression, functional, integration, end-to-end, smoke, and release validation tests across Left Main products. Use modern QA automation frameworks and tools such as Copado Robotic Tests, Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Postman, REST Assured, pytest, Jest, or similar technologies. Apply AI-assisted and AI automated testing techniques to generate test cases, identify edge cases, support exploratory testing, analyze failures, improve regression coverage, and accelerate QA workflows. Validate GenAI and AI-powered product experiences, including prompt behavior, response consistency, hallucination risk, data grounding, role-based agent workflows, AI-assisted recommendations, and customer-facing automation. Partner with engineers to define testable acceptance criteria, identify risk areas, and ensure features are built with quality, observability, and maintainability in mind. Create and maintain test plans, test cases, test data, QA checklists, release validation plans, and defect documentation. Perform API testing, integration testing, and data validation across systems including Salesforce, AWS services, Snowflake, third-party data providers, and internal backend services. Support Salesforce QA activities, including validating Flows, Lightning pages, Apex-driven functionality, managed package behavior, permissions, profiles, data models, and customer upgrade scenarios. Collaborate with engineering to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and improve release confidence through repeatable quality gates. Monitor, triage, reproduce, and document defects clearly, including severity, impact, steps to reproduce, expected behavior, actual behavior, and supporting evidence. Help establish QA best practices for a growing engineering organization, including automation strategy, regression strategy, test data management, release readiness, and AI testing standards.

Requirements:

2+ years of QA engineering, software testing, or test automation experience in a SaaS, web application, enterprise software, or cloud product environment. Hands-on experience building and maintaining automated test suites for web applications, APIs, backend services, or enterprise platforms. Experience with at least one modern test automation framework such as Copado Robotic Tests, Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Jest, Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools. Familiarity with AI-assisted testing or AI automated testing tools and practices, including test case generation, automated exploratory testing, failure analysis, synthetic test data, prompt testing, or AI-powered regression support. Strong understanding of QA methodologies, including functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, exploratory testing, smoke testing, and release validation. Experience testing APIs, integrations, data flows, and asynchronous processes using tools such as Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, SQL, logs, queues, or monitoring tools. Ability to write clear, detailed bug reports and communicate quality risks effectively to engineering, product, and leadership stakeholders. Experience working in Agile or fast-moving startup environments where QA partners closely with product and engineering throughout the development lifecycle. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, curiosity, and persistence in investigating complex issues. Comfort using modern AI productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools to improve QA planning, documentation, automation, and analysis. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner across product, engineering, Salesforce, data, and leadership teams.

Preferred Requirements:

Salesforce Certifications:

Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I, or Platform Developer II. Copado Certifications such as

Copado Robotic Testing Automation Tools:

Experience with automation tools like Copado Robotic Testing, Selenium, or similar. API Testings including experience with Postman.

CI/CD:

Experience with CI/CD tools and processes, particularly Copado.
