This role involves supporting data pipelines and analytics solutions within a government agency, offering the chance to work on high-impact modernization initiatives. Position Overview for the
QA/Test Engineer:
Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for data pipelines and Tableau dashboards. Review user stories and acceptance criteria to develop comprehensive testing strategies. Validate dashboard functionality, data accuracy, and KPI calculations. Identify, document, and track defects through resolution. Collaborate closely with developers, Business Analysts, and BI Engineers throughout Agile sprints. Requirements for the
QA/Test Engineer:
5+ years experience as a QA/Test Engineer supporting data or analytics projects. Experience supporting Workers' Compensation systems, claims, or business operations. Strong hands-on experience designing, developing, and executing automated test flows; this role requires deeper automation expertise and is not primarily a manual QA position. Experience with performance testing and identifying performance, scalability, and data-quality issues. Must be highly self-sufficient and comfortable independently determining testing approaches, troubleshooting issues, and driving work forward without relying on predefined checklists or step-by-step direction.
