Location US- Secondary Location US-PA-Mechanicsburg Security Clearance Secret Overview/ Job Responsibilities Entarian is looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) & Software Test Engineer to support the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Ordnance Information System (OIS) to provide technical expertise on a mission-critical program whose purpose is to develop, modernize, enhance, operate, and maintain services for OIS mission critical systems. Next Gen application is reliable, functional, and user-friendly. The ideal candidate will design and test cases, identify and document defects, collaborate with developers and product teams, and contribute to continuous improvements in the software development lifecycle. This position can be remote but may require travel to customer sites in Mechanicsburg, PA, and/or Yorktown, VA. (Up to 10% travel)
Primary Responsibilities:
Job duties would include, but are not limited to: Review business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications. Create detailed test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and checklists. manual functional, regression, integration, system, 508 and user acceptance testing. Test web, mobile, and/or desktop applications across supported environments. Identify, reproduce, document, and track defects using GitLab. Clearly communicate defects, risks, test results, and release readiness. Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing after changes are implemented. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product managers, and other QA professionals. Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Contribute to improving QA processes, standards, and documentation. Support production validation and post-release testing when needed. The salary range for this positon is $75,000 - $110,000/year. Minimum Qualifications Must have DOD Secret level clearance to start; U.S. Citizen required only for

IAT II:
Security+ (must have certificate to start) Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent years' experience) and 5+ years of prior relevant experience Experience performing manual software testing in an Agile or Scrum environment. Understanding of software development and testing life cycles. Experience writing and executing test cases. Experience performing SQL and database validation. Knowledge of functional, regression, integration, usability, and exploratory testing techniques. Experience using defect-tracking or test-management tools, such as GitLab. Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into test scenarios. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment. Desired Qualifications Experience with 508 Compliance testing highly preferred. Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Postman highly preferred. Knowledge of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) X12 Prior Military, preferably Navy, experience is a plus Knowledgeable of Navy Ordnance Information Systems. Experience testing web-based, mobile, or enterprise applications.
