Job Description
Join Our Team as a Front Desk Coordinator in Laurel, MD! CAM Physical Therapy is hiring a Full-Time Front Desk Coordinator for our Laurel clinic. This is an in-person role at the front of a busy outpatient physical therapy practice — you'll be the first point of contact for patients and a key part of keeping the clinic running smoothly.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Greet patients and manage check-in, including kiosk/tablet registration and document scanning (photo ID, insurance card, referral, physician notes) Schedule new patient evaluations, re-evaluations, and follow-up appointments accurately Verify insurance and referral requirements before appointments Collect copays, deductibles, coinsurance, and outstanding balances at time of service Maintain complete, audit-ready patient charts and documentation Review therapist schedules several days out to identify and help fill scheduling gaps Monitor the Cases Without Future Appointments report and follow up with patients needing to schedule Answer incoming calls promptly, including routing patient check-in and communication system calls even while on another line Check and return voicemails at the start of shift and after lunch, documenting all follow-up Complete opening and/or closing front desk duties depending on shift Support day-to-day clinic operations and assist teammates as neededREQUIREMENTS
Bilingual English/Spanish required Minimum 1 year of medical office experience required Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail, especially with scheduling and documentation Reliable, professional phone and in-person communication skillsAvailability:
