Job Description
Robert Half is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to support a financial services client based in Seattle, WA. This individual will serve as a hands-on technical contributor, building and maintaining automated test frameworks for an ever-growing department. Apply today!
Build automated testing solutions for functional, regression, API, UI, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
Develop and document testing and debugging tools to support engineering and development teams.
Identify opportunities to improve automation processes and increase overall test automation coverage.
Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and document findings.
Track, troubleshoot, and help resolve defects while partnering with developers to identify root causes and prevent recurring issues.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including refinement, estimation, and feature delivery.
Support and provide guidance to other Test Engineers and Software Engineers on automation practices and tooling.
Potentially own components of the automation framework, CI/CD testing stages, or test strategy for a specific application or service.
Collaborate closely with developers, QA teams, technical SMEs, business partners, and IT leadership.
