Islandwide Permanent Executive 6 years exp Information Technology $6,000to$7,000 Monthly 7 applicationsPosted 06 Jul 2026Closing on 05 Aug 2026 Roles & Responsibilities Our Client is looking for a System Analyst with experience in technical analysis of Java-based applications and preparing technical documentation, including system design documents and technical specifications. The successful candidate will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to analyze requirements, propose solutions, and support system implementation throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities and Duties Perform Technical Analysis on a Regional Payment Solutions Project, understanding the technical structure, functions, non-functions, end to end system flow. Work closely with various team on Functional and Technical design on solutioning during the project initiation, implementation, and post-implementation support. Proposing of alternate solution to meet or improving the system based on industry standards/best practices to achieve the best outcome. Develop and review of technical specifications, explanation documentation, to ensure the design meet the functional requirements. Vendor management and facilitate the quality review/refinement/suggestion on the deliverables from the Vendors. Review all test plan (Unit testing, System testing, internal/external linkage testing, SIT, UAT, etc.). Support testing during SIT, UAT, and post implementation. Perform System Analysis on the current SDLC process, and continuous improvement by making recommendation through regular reporting to the Project Manager and relevant Stakeholders. Good to Have Knowledge of Cross-Border Payments and Reporting Plus (CBPR+) standards and payment messaging. Familiarity with MEPS+ (MAS Electronic Payment System) and domestic payment processing. Understanding of SWIFT MT and
ISO 20022 MX
message formats, including message mapping, migration, and payment flows. Experience in payment systems, financial messaging, or banking transformation projects related to cross-border and domestic payments. Exposure to regulatory and compliance requirements associated with payment messaging standards and financial institutions. Bachelor/Master's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or related field Experience with at least 6-7 years of System and/or Technical Analysis in a banking industry. Experience and good knowledge in Java, Spring Framework, SpringBoot, Java libraries, and Oracle DB. Hand-on experience in functional specification, and technical design specification preparation. Experience in Full-SDLC cycle, with medium to large-scale live system implementation. Strong verbal and writing skills; ability to thoroughly understand product specifications, and ability to produce clear, concise documentation. Strong experience in Vendor Management. Strong experience analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Experience in project planning and managing small-scale team will be preferred.
