SUMMARY:
Ensures efficient and effective operation of core and ancillary systems. Maintains efficiencies through streamlining and analysis of system processes. Install and test pertinent software releases for the core system and the data management systems.
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or IT-related field required
Minimum two years technology experience required
Strong proficiency with Fiserv DNA product preferred
Strong experience with Oracle Relational Database Management System and experience with database queries using Structured Query Language (SQL) preferred
Proficiency in a scripting language such as python is preferred
Proficiency in process automation and workflows preferred
Knowledge of Batch Job Scheduler system is preferred
JOB DUTIES
Ensures the effective operation of the core system and its batch processing scheduler system to meet the ongoing business needs
Monitor the daily core operations, incident and problem tracking, reporting and capacity planning. Evaluate current processes to increase efficiency and automation
Perform updates and software maintenance to integral system applications
Install, test and evaluate core applications to help create more efficient workflows.
Prepare and update quality documentation in regards to core system.
Create database query reports using Structured Query Language (SQL)
Perform automation of batch jobs when necessary using scripting language
Participate in enterprise projects for requirement analysis, development and support.
Prepare regulatory reporting such as: Statements, Credit Reporting, HESC, IRS tax reporting, Multi State Abandoned Property, and State FIDM reporting for Aires and taxes
Participate in core system disaster recovery and full failover testing
