Bid number: 59865-1 Job nature: This is a CSA post responsible for providing administrative and technical support for the supply of IT products and related services to Government bureaux and departments under the GITP scheme of DPO.

Job description:

Support the day-to-day operation of the Listing Arrangement for Government Procurement of IT Products (GITP) for the supply of IT products and related services to Government bureaux and departments (B/Ds), in particular on issues related to the supply of enterprise-class network products and infrastructure equipment to B/Ds.

Duties include:

Manage the applications of IT suppliers to join the GITP scheme as GITP providers and the applications from GITP providers for admission to additional sub-categories under the GITP scheme;
Provide replies to written/oral enquiries from IT suppliers on issues related to applications for joining the GITP scheme and admission to additional sub-categories;
Provide replies to written/oral enquiries from B/D users on issues related to procurement of enterprise-class network products (including core switches and VPN products) and infrastructure equipment under the GITP scheme;
Provide administrative and technical support for collection of statistical figures from B/D users and GITP providers on procurement cases under the GITP scheme; and
Provide administrative and technical support to maintain and enhance the internal business processes of the GITP scheme.

Requirement details:

Apart from the mandatory technical and non-technical requirements specified below, the candidate should possess good interpersonal skill.

Essential skills:

At least 3 years of NET Networking experience At least 3 years of

TCP TCP/IP

experience At least 3 years of VPN Virtual Private Network experience At least 2 years of CON Contract Administration experience At least 2 years of IWE Intensive Exposure in Written English experience The following skills are not necessary but are appreciated: At least 1 year of GPD Knowledge in Govt Procurement/Disposal Procedures experience
