The Workday Analyst is responsible for supporting the configuration, maintenance, reporting, and optimization of the Workday platform. This role serves as a technical resource for assigned Workday functional areas and partners with Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, and business stakeholders to support business processes, reporting needs, and system enhancements. The Workday Analyst works closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, recommend system solutions, maintain data integrity, and support the effective use of Workday technology. This position also participates in system releases, testing activities, reporting initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts to help ensure Workday effectively supports business operations and employee experiences. Workday Configuration & Support Serve as a technical resource for assigned Workday functional areas by maintaining knowledge of system functionality, business processes, and reporting capabilities. Configure and maintain Workday business processes, reports, dashboards, calculated fields, and security assignments. Research and resolve system issues, unexpected results, and process-related concerns. Provide day-to-day support for assigned Workday modules and functionality. Assist with maintaining system documentation and configuration records. Business Partnership & Consultation Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, and business stakeholders to understand business requirements and identify appropriate Workday solutions. Provide guidance on Workday functionality and system capabilities. Participate in discussions regarding process improvements and technology enhancements. Support change management activities related to Workday updates and enhancements. Reporting & Analytics Develop, maintain, and enhance Workday reports, dashboards, and reporting solutions. Support stakeholder reporting needs by helping identify appropriate reporting and analytics solutions. Present information in a clear and meaningful manner that supports business decision-making. Promote effective use of Workday reporting tools and self-service capabilities. Data Integrity & Security Maintain data accuracy and integrity within assigned Workday functional areas. Support security administration activities, including role assignments and access reviews. Identify and escalate data quality concerns as appropriate. Assist with efforts to improve data governance and reporting accuracy. System Enhancements & Continuous Improvement Participate in Workday releases, testing activities, and implementation of approved changes. Identify opportunities to improve processes through Workday functionality, automation, reporting, and workflow enhancements. Maintain awareness of new Workday features and functionality and share recommendations with stakeholders. Participate in Workday projects and cross-functional system initiatives as assigned. Technical Support Support integration monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution activities. Assist with testing and validation of system changes and enhancements. Coordinate with internal and external partners to resolve system-related issues. Support operational activities and other technical projects as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Two years of experience supporting Workday or a comparable Human Capital Management (HCM) platform. Experience creating and maintaining Workday reports, dashboards, and calculated fields. Knowledge, skills, and abilities Experience gathering requirements and supporting business process improvements. Understanding of HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent, or Recruiting processes. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
