IT Security & Infrastructure Analyst Location:
South Jordan, UT Exempt -Full Time Reports To:
Director of Information Technology Position Summary The IT Security & Infrastructure Analyst is responsible for protecting the organization's information systems, networks, and servers from security threats while ensuring reliable, secure infrastructure operations. This role combines hands-on security monitoring and response with core network and server administration duties, supporting a healthcare IT environment that includes on-premises and cloud (Microsoft 365 hybrid) systems. Primary Functions Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents across the network, servers, and endpoints Manage firewall, VPN, and remote access security Administer and maintain Active Directory, including user access controls and group policy Manage and maintain on-premises and cloud server infrastructure (Windows Server, Exchange, IIS) Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation Maintain and enforce security policies in alignment with HIPAA and healthcare compliance requirements Manage patching, updates, and lifecycle maintenance for servers and network devices Support network performance, uptime, and troubleshooting for LAN/WAN environments Assist with disaster recovery and business continuity planning Document security procedures, network configurations, and incident response protocols Collaborate with the IT team on infrastructure projects and system upgrades Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in network/systems administration, with a security focus Experience with Active Directory, Windows Server, and network security tools Familiarity with healthcare compliance requirements (HIPAA) preferred Relevant certifications a plus (Security+, CySA+, CCNA, or similar) Preferred Skills Microsoft 365 hybrid environment experience Strong analytical and incident-response skillsAA/EOE Benefits:
