Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 10 years of experience in product design or UX. Experience leveraging generative AI tools and workflows for prototyping and interface exploration. Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 15 years of experience in product design or UX. 6 years of experience leading design projects. 5 years of experience working with executive leaders. Experience working with Designers, Researchers, Engineers, Content Strategists, and Product Managers throughout the design process. About the job As an Interaction Designer at Google, you'll always start from a user-centered app-first mindset to drive intuitive, highly engaging user journeys for our products. As a Senior Designer on App Foundations, you'll shape the foundational design and execution of some of the most critical surfaces, impacting billions of users every month. You will hold a high bar for craft, balance complex technical constraints with user needs, and directly influence cross-functional partners to create the world's most knowledgeable and personal AI companion that adapts to your needs, provides rich experiences that best match your question, and effortlessly enables conversation about anything.
