full-time Akkodis is seeking a Senior UI Designer in Dearborn, MI for a premier automotive client. We are looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented designer who excels at transforming wireframes, concepts, and existing experiences into polished, visually compelling digital products. This role is ideal for someone who has a passion for crafting beautiful, intuitive user interfaces across web and mobile platforms. You'll collaborate closely with UX Designers, Product Designers, Researchers, and Engineers to create cohesive customer experiences that are both functional and visually engaging. WILL CONSIDER REMOTE CANDIDATES

Responsibilities Design high-quality user interfaces for web, mobile, and responsive digital experiences. Translate product requirements, wireframes, user flows, and experience concepts into polished, development-ready designs. Apply strong visual design principles including typography, color, hierarchy, layout, spacing, imagery, and interaction design. Create mockups, prototypes, motion studies, and other design artifacts to communicate concepts and interactions. Ensure consistency across experiences through the effective use of design systems and established design patterns. Collaborate with UX Designers and Product Designers to enhance customer experiences through thoughtful visual design. Partner with Engineers to ensure designs are scalable, feasible, and implemented with a high degree of quality. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Visual Design, Graphic Design, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of experience designing digital products for web and mobile platforms. Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual design and UI craftsmanship. Expertise in typography, color theory, layout, spacing, visual hierarchy, and interaction design. Experience creating high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and production-ready designs. Proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar. Experience working with and contributing to design systems. Strong communication skills and ability to articulate design decisions to cross-functional teams.
