Webflow Designer (Project-Based)

VarTech Systems, a U.S.-based industrial technology company, is seeking a highly experienced Webflow Designer with strong hands-on Webflow development skills for a single, defined website optimization project. The ideal candidate must have proven experience building and improving websites directly in Webflow, with a strong focus on UX, usability, and conversion optimization. This is a project-based contract role (not full-time or long-term), and candidates must reside within driving distance of Clemmons, NC, for periodic on-site collaboration. Qualifications Proven, hands-on experience working in Webflow (portfolio required) Strong ability to design, build, and optimize websites directly within Webflow (not just design mockups) Demonstrated experience improving existing Webflow websites Strong understanding of UX principles applied in real Webflow projects Ability to diagnose usability issues and implement improvements directly in Webflow Strong skills in layout, spacing, visual hierarchy, and responsive design (desktop, tablet, mobile) Experience working within existing Webflow builds and improving structure without full rebuilds Ability to execute structured feedback directly within Webflow environments UX & Conversion Focus Evaluate how users interact with key pages and identify breakdown points. Improve clarity of messaging and visual prioritization. Strengthen call-to-action visibility and placement. Align page structure with expected user intent. Simplify interfaces where complexity reduces effectiveness. Preferred Experience with B2B or industrial websites Familiarity with conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles Strong understanding of SEO structure within Webflow Experience improving navigation, page flow, and CTA performance in Webflow Responsibilities Design and implement website updates directly in Webflow Improve layout structure, spacing, and visual hierarchy within existing pages Identify and resolve usability issues inside an existing Webflow site Optimize navigation, page flow, and content structure for clarity and usability Improve call-to-action placement and conversion pathways Maintain consistency across components, styles, and pages within Webflow Apply responsive design across desktop, tablet, and mobile views Execute revisions based on structured internal feedback Analyze user flow and improve UX based on intent and behavior Refine existing interfaces without unnecessary redesign complexity Benefits & Perks Project-based contract with defined scope and timeline Competitive hourly rate: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour Flexible, project-focused engagement (not full-time or long-term) Opportunity to work directly on a real-world Webflow optimization project Periodic on-site collaboration (remote flexibility available with agreed visits)
