Job Description

We are looking for a Back End Developer to join a collaborative engineering team in Hollywood, Florida. In this role, you will create reliable server-side solutions, partner with product and business teams to translate needs into technical outcomes, and help modernize core platform capabilities. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys building scalable applications, improving code quality, and contributing to a thoughtful service-oriented architecture.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, release, and support backend enhancements that address evolving business needs.
  • Collaborate closely with product partners and fellow engineers to deliver solutions in a team-driven development environment.
  • Gather and clarify functional goals by working directly with stakeholders and turning requirements into practical technical plans.
  • Build and maintain data access components using C# with Dapper and MySQL, with continued focus on efficiency and database performance.
  • Expand automated quality coverage by creating unit and integration tests with NUnit as part of both new development and modernization efforts.
  • Refactor older platform components into independently deployable .NET Core services aligned with the broader architectural roadmap.
  • Establish clear interfaces and communication patterns between newly separated services and remaining monolithic application areas during the transition period.
  • Contribute to the stability, maintainability, and long-term scalability of backend systems through sound engineering practices.
