Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and creative Front-End Developer Intern to join our IT and Marketing teams at our Milan, IL location. This internship is designed for students or recent graduates with a foundation in JavaScript who are eager to enhance their front-end development skills while contributing to both internal and external company websites. Interns will work closely with designers and developers to improve site functionality, user experience, and visual design. $19.23/hourKey Responsibilities:
Contribute to the maintenance, debugging, and improvement of internal websites Participate in redesign and development of new internal site features Collaborate with design and development teams to implement responsive, accessible, and visually appealing user interfaces Integrate JavaScript-driven functionality and dynamic content into websites Participate in quality assurance, usability testing, and iterative improvements Support redesign and feature development for customer-facing external websites Ensure cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and adherence to branding standards Assist in version control and project management processes Participate in code reviews and team design sessions to learn best practices Prepare project documentation and maintain organized code repositories Perform additional development-related tasks as assignedQualifications:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Software Engineering, or related field Foundation in JavaScript and familiarity with front-end frameworks Interest in front-end web development and user experience design Internship, coursework, or project experience preferred but not requiredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular preferred Knowledge of responsive design, accessibility standards, and web best practices Strong problem-solving and debugging skills Attention to detail and commitment to clean, maintainable code Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced technical environment Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment High level of professionalism, integrity, and reliabilityWhy This Role:
