Job Summary A financial services technology organization is hiring a Web Developer III to serve as a senior-level Java developer supporting enterprise web applications. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining complex systems within financial domains such as payroll, accounting, and accounts receivable. The position emphasizes modern Java web technologies, cloud and container platforms, and agile development practices in a contract-to-hire arrangement. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications in a Java/J2EE environment Implement MVC-based applications using object-oriented analysis, design principles, and common design patterns Develop and integrate SOAP and RESTful services, APIs, API gateways, and microservices Build front-end and full-stack solutions using JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, and Node.js Work with enterprise databases to develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures Develop, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes Implement and support CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration practices Integrate cloud-based services and vendor APIs within enterprise systems Test, debug, and diagnose application and system issues Develop and execute test cases and test plans Collaborate within Agile teams using Scrum or Kanban methodologies
