Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and attentive Telephone Operator to serve as the friendly first point of contact for our organization. In this vital role, you will manage multi-line phone systems, handle incoming calls with professionalism, and provide exceptional communication support to visitors, staff, and clients. Your energetic approach will ensure smooth operations, accurate data entry, and a welcoming environment that reflects our commitment to excellent service. Responsibilities Operate multi-line phone systems efficiently, directing calls to appropriate departments or personnel Maintain clear and courteous phone etiquette at all times, ensuring positive interactions Manage incoming and outgoing calls promptly, providing accurate information or forwarding messages as needed Perform data entry tasks related to call logs and administrative documentation Assist with dispatching tasks by relaying messages or coordinating between departments for urgent requests Requirements Proven experience in clerical work or front desk responsibilities is preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to speak multiple languages or bilingual proficiency is a plus Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and basic data entry procedures Excellent phone etiquette and professional demeanor in all interactions Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Basic typing skills and proficiency in using office software for data entry and record keeping Previous experience in administrative roles or dispatching is advantageous but not mandatory Join in this position, you will answer multiple phone lines, we receive calls from various companies, doctors, agencies, etc. Take and route messages according to each account's individual instructions. Candidates must be able to prioritize emergency calls, making sure to follow through accordingly. We also answer phones and dispatch for several tow companies, so dispatch experience is a big plus. Top level communication skills, ability to work as a team is necessary. Applicant must speak, read and write English, Bilingual a plus. Experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right person. Salary is negotiable.
Pay:
$19.00 - $19.01 per hour
