Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Thrift Store Inventory Coordinator to lead our inventory management efforts at our thrift store. In this vital role, you will oversee the efficient handling, stocking, and tracking of donated items, ensuring optimal inventory levels and streamlined processes. Your expertise in supply chain management, warehouse operations, and data analysis will drive operational excellence and enhance our ability to serve our community effectively. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of inventory control, including receiving, stocking, and organizing donated goods within the warehouse and sales floor Utilize tools to track inventory movements accurately Conduct regular stock audits, root cause analysis of discrepancies, and implement process improvements to optimize inventory accuracy Coordinate with procurement teams and suppliers through sourcing negotiations to ensure timely replenishment of high-demand items Analyze sales data and forecast inventory needs and support merchandising strategies Collaborate with team for efficient materials movement and stock distribution across locations Requirements Proven experience in warehouse management, inventory control, or supply chain logistics within retail or nonprofit environments Strong data collection Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement process improvements effectively Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to analyze data sets for decision-making purposes Physical ability to perform materials handling tasks including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods Join us in making a difference by ensuring our thrift store operates smoothly through meticulous inventory management.
