MUST HAVE A CDL WITH A PASSENGER ENDORSEMENT AND AIR BRAKE CERTIFICATION.

You will be responsible for operating a variety of vehicles—including mini buses, motor coaches, and shuttles—while adhering to all safety and traffic regulations. Your dedication will help create positive travel experiences and keep our community moving smoothly. Responsibilities Safely operate mini buses, motor coaches, and shuttle vehicles on designated routes, including city streets and highway driving. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after each shift to ensure mechanical soundness and compliance with safety standards. Follow all transportation safety regulations, including DOT (Department of Transportation) and state transportation laws, especially when driving in adverse weather conditions. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing passenger safety and special needs assistance as required. Maintain communication with dispatch using two-way radios to coordinate routes and report any incidents or delays promptly. Navigate efficiently through city streets, traffic laws, and traffic patterns to ensure timely arrivals and departures. Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues related to air brakes, engine performance, or other vehicle systems. Ensure passenger comfort by delivering excellent customer service, addressing questions or concerns professionally. Proven experience in bus driving or commercial driving roles such as shuttle driving, Motor Coach driving, fixed route navigation. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including air brakes, engine components, and basic maintenance practices. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for passenger transport; experience with motor coach or Mini bus driving preferred. Strong understanding of traffic laws, transportation safety regulations, and city street navigation skills. Demonstrated defensive driving skills with a clean driving record; experience in driving in adverse weather conditions is highly valued. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with passengers and dispatch teams via two-way radios. Ability to perform vehicle inspections thoroughly and identify potential mechanical issues proactively.
