Job Description

We're Hiring:
Bus Driver! Love driving? Love making a difference? Join our team! We're looking for a dependable and caring Bus Driver to safely transport the individuals we serve to and from school, activities, field trips, and other approved destinations What you'll do: Safely operate a school bus and/or other transportation vehicles Help ensure passengers are comfortable, safe, and supported Complete required vehicle inspections and paperwork Maintain a clean and safe vehicle Communicate concerns to the Transportation Coordinator Participate in required training If you're reliable, safety-minded, and enjoy working with people , this could be the perfect opportunity for you! Minimum Acceptable Qualifications/Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent. 21 years of age with minimum 2 years of driving experience. Experience or training on how to safely move or secure individuals or objects on transportation vehicles. A driving record that does not contain: More than four points; A DUI or controlled substance conviction within the past 10 years; Two or more serious traffic violations; or Any railroad crossing violation during the past year. Successful completion of physical ability test, driver physical, drug screening and background check. Current State of Ohio Commercial Driver's License with S& P and air brake endorsements (school bus) First Aide and CPR Certificate All employees who hold a commercial driver's license (CDL) and any other employees who are required to have a CDL must grant the SCBDD consent to run a query of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse as required by 49 CFR § 382.701.
