The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting supplies and documents efficiently and safely to various locations. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to navigate diverse routes effectively. As a Courier Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. Duties Operate delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, to transport items to designated locations. Load and unload goods using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary. Printing orders to take to physicans, logging in signed documents, making a sufficient route. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and delivery confirmations. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during pickups and drop-offs. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation. Navigate efficiently using GPS systems or maps to optimize delivery routes. Handle supplies and documents with care. Experience Previous experience as a courier or delivery driver is preferred but not required. Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Experience in warehouse settings is beneficial for understanding logistics operations. Strong customer service skills are essential for interacting positively with clients. Ability to operate various types of delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks. Knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns is advantageous for efficient route planning.
