Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Junk Removal Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers with the removal of unwanted items from their homes or businesses. This position requires physical stamina, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment. Duties Safely load and unload junk and debris from customer locations using appropriate equipment. Drive company vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport items to designated disposal sites. Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner while providing exceptional service. Sort and categorize items for recycling or disposal according to company policies. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and equipment used during operations. Follow safety protocols while operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery as needed. Assist in scheduling pickups and coordinating logistics for efficient operations. Skills Experience as a courier or delivery driver is preferred. Ability to drive various types of vehicles including box trucks and vans. Familiarity with moving processes and techniques for safely handling items. Proficient in loading and unloading materials efficiently while ensuring safety standards are met. Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus. Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while managing individual responsibilities effectively.
