Position summary:
The Warehouse Truck Driver is responsible for driving the company's tractor/spotter truck to support timely and critical loading and unloading of finished goods and raw materials for manufacturing and distribution. This position will also be responsible for transporting finished goods inventory to off site locations.
Educational requirements:
High school diploma or GED Skills and experience: Ability to manage multiple requests / tasks Must meet requirements for material handling equipment CDL Class A Good verbal communication skills Work experience driving and backing 53' trailers and pup trailers Over the road tractor trailer driving experience strongly preferred Essential duties: Deliver trailers between different Lagrange plant locations Maintain a written record on the condition of production trailers Maintain excellent housekeeping Comply with safety rules Comply with environmental regulations Be aware of departmental material safety data sheets (MSDS). Ensure ISO procedures are followed. Understand and support Interface's commitment to sustainability. Comply with DOT Physical requirements. Perform other warehouse duties as assigned Work overtime as needed Physical demands: Able to lift 60 lbs on a regular basis Driving spotter truck , in and out of vehicle continuously Work environment: Non-climate controlled distribution environment Work outside in all types of weather #LI-AS1 #LI-Onsite Learn more about Interface (
