We expect only the best. We're looking for a Mobile Equipment Operator to join our Feist-Weiller Cancer Center. The Mobile Equipment Operator I is responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, and logistical support of a 45-foot mobile mammography screening motor coach. This position also provides direct assistance to Nurse Practitioners and administrative/clerical support to ensure the efficient delivery of cancer screening, education, and outreach services to underserved communities throughout North and Central Louisiana. Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties:
As a Mobile Equipment Operator, you will: Operate a 45-foot mobile mammography unit and travel to screening locations throughout North and Central Louisiana. Transport clinical staff, equipment, and supplies to community outreach and cancer screening events. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe and reliable operation of the mobile clinic. Assist with setting up and breaking down the mobile screening unit at clinic locations. Monitor and coordinate routine maintenance and repairs for the mobile clinic and its onboard systems. Maintain vehicle, inspection, mileage, and maintenance records. Support clinical staff during mobile and on-campus screening events by assisting with patient flow and clinic operations. Greet patients and provide customer service to support a positive screening experience. Schedule appointments, answer phones, and assist with patient follow-up activities. Enter and maintain patient and screening information in databases and record systems while ensuring confidentiality requirements are met.
