Job Description

Job Summary Ice 9 Productions is an Audio Visual and Event Technology company based in the Boston area. We provide video and audio to corporate, entertainment, and private events across the New England region. We are currently seeking a contract employee for the busy fall months to deliver and pick up events in non-CDL box trucks. Occasionally the driver may be asked to help set up or tear down the equipment as well as driving and loading trucks. Additional hours will be filled pulling and packing orders in the warehouse and doing pickups and dropoffs at our local vendors. This position requires strict attention to detail and adherence to production schedules as specified by Project Managers and the Logistics Manager. Nighttime and weekend hours are required based on the needs of the company at any given time. Duties Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver and pick up audio visual equipment at event job sites Load and unload trucks and vans with audio visual equipment in wheeled road cases and secure loads appropriately Ensure production schedules are met by adhering to specified delivery and pickup times Work with warehouse associates and warehouse manager to pull and pack orders Communicate effectively with site managers, warehouse and logistics manager to make sure timelines are met and relevant information is flowing freely Pick up and return rentals and equipment from vendors in the Greater Boston/New England area Other duties as assigned Experience Proven experience driving box trucks and vans in the Boston area. Driving record and references required. Ability to pass a DOT physical required for commercial vehicle operation Experience with audio visual or entertainment industry and/or trucking preferred but not required Willingness to work hours outside of a normal schedule as needed Able to work independently with intermittent supervision from managers Desire to learn and gain experience in the live entertainment/audio visual industry This role is offered on a 1099/contract basis, running from mid-September through the month of November with the potential to become full time in 2027 depending on performance.
Pay:
$26.00 - $30.00 per hour
