Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver American Prime Medical Transportation LLC Kansas City, MO Job Details Part-time | Full-time $16.00 - $23.11 an hour 11 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications In-person customer service Driver's License Patient interaction GPS navigation Full Job Description Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver We are seeking reliable and compassionate drivers to join our team providing safe and timely transportation for patients to and from medical appointments, hospitals, dialysis centers, and other healthcare facilities. As an NEMT Driver, you will play a vital role in supporting community health by ensuring clients arrive comfortably, safely, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate company vehicles to transport clients to medical and non-emergency appointments Assist passengers in and out of vehicles as needed (wheelchair, stretcher, or ambulatory support) Provide courteous, professional, and patient-focused service Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage, and documentation Ensure vehicles remain clean, fueled, and compliant with safety inspections
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license with clean driving record Must be dependable, punctual, and customer-service oriented Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 150 lbs as needed Prior NEMT, healthcare, or transportation experience preferred but not required
