Vehicle Requirement Drivers are expected to use their own reliable personal vehicle that meets Make A Way Transport's operational, safety, and compliance requirements. Position Overview Make A Way Transport is seeking Regional Lead Drivers to support our growing non-emergency medical transportation network across Tennessee. This is a limited hourly 1099 independent contractor position designed for experienced, dependable drivers who are comfortable handling both local and regional routes and taking on additional responsibilities that support our driver network.

Compensation:

$22.00/hour Limited positions available. What You'll Do As a Regional Lead Driver, you'll do more than transport passengers. You'll also help support Make A Way Transport's operations and represent the company professionally by: Safely transporting passengers on local and regional routes. Being available to travel throughout your assigned region as needed. Providing professional, compassionate, and reliable service to every passenger. Assisting with new driver vehicle inspection preparation when requested. Supporting vehicle inspections and related driver onboarding activities when needed. Attending driver or community events on behalf of Make A Way Transport when requested. Supporting company initiatives and maintaining company service standards. Communicating promptly with dispatch and management. Operating independently while maintaining professionalism, punctuality, and reliability. What Makes the Regional Lead Position Different Regional Lead Drivers are compensated on an hourly basis at $22.00/hour and are expected to provide greater flexibility in supporting regional operations.

The position may include:

Local and regional driving opportunities. Regional travel throughout the assigned service area. Supporting vehicle inspections for new drivers when needed. Representing Make A Way Transport at community or driver events when requested. Additional opportunities to support company operations as the network grows. Minimum Requirements To qualify, applicants must: Have a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record. Have access to a reliable personal vehicle that meets company requirements. Possess or obtain a valid DOT Medical Certification . Possess or obtain an F Endorsement , where required. Meet all company and regulatory compliance requirements. Successfully complete the required background screening and onboarding process. Complete required training and onboarding requirements. Be willing to complete the vehicle inspection process before being cleared to drive. Be prepared to begin driving once all required approvals and onboarding steps have been completed.
