Job Summary:
We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Movers. As a Mover, you will be responsible for assisting with the safe and efficient transportation of goods and furniture for our clients. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and excellent communication skills.Duties:
- Load and unload furniture and other items onto trucks or trailers
- Safely secure items to prevent damage during transportation
- Drive own vehicle to job destination
- Potential to drive 17 or 26 Foot box truck later in employment (with correct credentrials)
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by dispatch
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure smooth operations
- Provide exceptional customer service during the moving process
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or moving environment is preferred
- Proficiency in driving box trucks or is a plus
- Ability to safely lift and carry heavy objects, including furniture, up and down stairs
- Experience as a delivery driver, commercial driver, courier, or in a similar role is beneficial
Skills:
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively
- Excellent problem-solving abilities to overcome challenges during the moving process
- Attention to detail to ensure items are properly secured and protected during transportation
