In this role, you'll be responsible for safely transporting furniture and household items from our warehouse or retail locations directly to customers' doorsteps. Your enthusiasm for excellent customer service, combined with your driving expertise and manual handling skills, will ensure each delivery is a positive experience. Responsibilities Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles, adhering strictly to traffic laws. Load and unload furniture using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as dollies, ensuring safe lifting practices are followed at all times. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes using mobile devices or GPS tools to ensure timely arrivals. Interact professionally with customers during delivery appointments, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns with a positive attitude. Conduct thorough inspections of delivery items for damage or defects before loading and after unloading. Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, including signatures, receipt of payment using manual credit card machine, reporting damage/issues when necessary. Assist with warehouse operations when not on the road, including receiving, un-crating, assembling (if necessary) and inspecting furniture, rugs and accessories and maintenance. Qualifications Previous experience in warehouse operations, or delivery and driving is highly preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating commercial trucks or box trucks is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely; familiarity with safe lifting practices is essential. Ability to read and follow instructions, safety procedures and business practices. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Pay:

$19.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week
