Job Description Are you a Southwest Employee? Current Southwest Employees should apply for jobs using the internal My Career & Referrals portal. Your Responsibilities Provide flight instruction to pilots in accordance with FAA regulations and Southwest Airlines policies. Conduct ground school and simulator training sessions. Evaluate pilot performance and provide feedback for improvement. Maintain accurate training records and documentation. Participate in the development and revision of training materials. Assist in the implementation of new training programs and initiatives. Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements. What We Are Looking For Must possess a valid FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate. Must have a minimum of 1,500 hours of total flight time. Must have a minimum of 500 hours of multi-engine flight time. Must have a minimum of 100 hours of flight instruction given. Must have a valid Class 1 Medical Certificate. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Southwest Airlines Flight Operations Security Badge. Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
