Job Description

⠀ CAE is seeking a dynamic and professional Ground School Instructor to deliver engaging, high‑quality technical and operational training to aviation professionals. This role is ideal for individuals with an aviation background—or a strong interest in aviation—who are passionate about sharing knowledge and supporting learner success. As a Ground School Instructor, you will facilitate classroom training, guide learners throughout their training journey, and ensure complex aviation concepts are communicated clearly, accurately, and effectively. Deliver ground school training programs to business aviation pilots. Facilitate engaging classroom learning experiences using a variety of instructional techniques. Present technical and operational aviation content in a clear, accurate, and learner‑focused manner. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages participation and knowledge retention. Maintain subject matter expertise through continuous learning and professional development. Adapt training delivery to accommodate different learning styles and needs. Provide high‑quality customer service while representing CAE and Bombardier products professionally. Collaborate with training teams to continuously improve course content and delivery methods. Minimum Qualifications Aviation background, aviation education, or a demonstrated strong interest in aviation. Proven ability to teach, coach, or effectively facilitate learning. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong presentation skills with confidence speaking in front of groups. Professional, polished, and customer‑focused approach. Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner. Self‑motivated with the ability to independently learn and stay current on technical topics. Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience. Proficiency with classroom technology and virtual training platforms. Available to deliver trainings for a minimum of 8 days a month. Preferred Qualifications Experience delivering aviation or technical training. Experience working in business aviation environments. FAA ATP & flying experience.
