Overview Cargo Van Drivers Only We are seeking a motivated and dependable Driver with cargo van to join our dynamic transportation team! Delivering packages to residential homes. Whether you're experienced in delivery, shuttle services, or passenger transport, this position is perfect for someone eager to showcase excellent driving skills while providing outstanding customer service. Duties Safely operate a variety of vehicles including passenger vans, shuttle buses, limousines, or personal delivery vehicles across local routes. Follow GPS navigation and adhere strictly to traffic regulations and state transportation laws to ensure safe journeys. Load, unload, and secure cargo with proper manual handling techniques to maintain safety and vehicle integrity. Communicate effectively with clients and team members to coordinate pickups, drop-offs, and route adjustments. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met. Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle condition reports. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, luggage handling, and addressing any inquiries professionally. Qualifications Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., driver license) with a clean driving record. Experience operating passenger vehicles including vans, limousines, or school buses; familiarity with passenger van operation is a plus. Knowledge of GPS navigation systems and local driving routes for efficient trip planning. Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for cargo or luggage handling. Strong understanding of traffic laws, state transportation regulations, and safety protocols related to commercial driving. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination. Basic vehicle maintenance skills to identify issues early and ensure vehicle safety standards are maintained.
