Operations & Family Services Coordinator GoVamo Pathways - Las Vegas, NV Part-Time | Hybrid | 20-25 Hours per Week $18-$25 per Hour Based on Assigned Duties and Vehicle Use Hiring Immediately About GoVamo Pathways GoVamo Pathways is a transportation program of the Aundrea Beverly Community Advocacy Foundation. We help children, teens and young adults access school, therapy, community programs and life opportunities. Our riders include both neurotypical and neurodivergent children and young adults. Approximately half of our riders may have autism developmental disabilities or other support needs. GoVamo provides rider-specific information and guidance to help employees feel prepared and supported.. We are seeking a compassionate, organized and proactive Operations & Family Services Coordinator to support our growing transportation program. Former school secretaries, Registered Behavior Technicians, ABA clinic schedulers, medical office coordinators, transportation dispatchers and nonprofit administrators are strongly encouraged to apply. Position Summary This is a hybrid administrative and transportation position. Approximately two-thirds of the position will involve administrative, scheduling, family-support and community-outreach responsibilities. Approximately one-third will involve transporting students using either a GoVamo company vehicle or an approved personal vehicle. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative and can comfortably shift between family communication, scheduling, administrative projects and student transportation. This is a coordinator-level position. It does not include clinical case management, crisis intervention, grant writing or legal-services responsibilities. We are looking to fill this position as soon as possible. ResponsibilitiesFamily and Client Support Serve as a primary point of contact for families Respond to calls, emails, text messages and transportation-related communications Conduct new-client intake calls Schedule family meet-and-greets Assist families with transportation requests and schedule changes Maintain accurate rider and emergency-contact information Communicate route changes, delays and arrival updates Track rider absences, cancellations and transportation adjustments Address questions professionally and compassionately Protect confidential student and family information Transportation Operations Assist with daily route coordination and scheduling Update transportation manifests and driver schedules Maintain accurate pickup and drop-off information Support route planning and organization Provide drivers with updated route and rider information Assist with emergency route coverage when available Maintain transportation and attendance records Student Transportation Approximately one-third of the position will involve transporting students. Safely transport children, teens and young adults Follow assigned routes, schedules and transportation plans Provide safe door-to-door or authorized hand-to-hand service Confirm that riders safely enter the approved home, school or facility Support riders with autism and other developmental needs Maintain appropriate professional boundaries Complete attendance and transportation documentation Conduct required vehicle inspections Report delays, incidents, injuries or behavioral concerns immediately Follow all GoVamo safety, confidentiality and communication policies Driver and Staff Support Maintain driver files and onboarding documentation Track CPR and First Aid certifications, background checks, drug screenings and other requirements Assist with employee onboarding and training coordination Monitor timekeeping and attendance Document incidents and maintain operational records Billing and Administrative Support Prepare and distribute invoices Track payments and assist with account follow-up Maintain organized electronic files and records Complete data entry and basic operational reports Track rider attendance and service information Provide general administrative support to company leadership Grant Opportunity Research Search for grant and funding opportunities that may support GoVamo Pathways Review basic eligibility requirements and deadlines Provide leadership with links and brief summaries of relevant opportunities Maintain a simple tracker of potential grants and due dates Notify leadership of promising opportunities for further review Organize publicly available grant information and application instructions This position does not require writing or submitting grant applications. Community and Program Support Build positive relationships with schools, therapy providers and community partners Assist with transportation events, community outings and outreach initiatives Collect client success stories and basic program-impact information Support nonprofit and community-engagement activities Assist with occasional social media and outreach content Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED At least two years of experience in administration, customer service, scheduling, education, ABA, healthcare, transportation or office support Valid Nevada driver's license Acceptable driving record Ability to pass an FBI background check Ability to pass a 10-panel drug screening CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organization and attention to detail Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Reliable internet connection and appropriate remote workspace Ability to safely operate a passenger vehicle Ability to work independently and manage changing priorities Compassionate and professional approach when working with children and families Personal Vehicle Requirements Candidates who choose to transport students using their own vehicle must have: A clean, safe and reliable vehicle approved by GoVamo Pathways Current vehicle registration Appropriate automobile insurance Working seat belts and safety equipment A clean and odor-free interior Willingness to complete required vehicle inspections Ability to provide updated vehicle documentation when requested A GoVamo company vehicle may also be available for assigned routes. Preferred Qualifications Registered Behavior Technician experience Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities Knowledge of autism and developmental disabilities Scheduling, routing or dispatch experience Nonprofit, education, ABA, healthcare or transportation experience Social media or community-outreach experience Bilingual abilities are welcomed but not required Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: Compassionate and family-centered Dependable and self-motivated Professional and solution-focused Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable wearing multiple hats Able to move confidently between different responsibilities Strong in communication and problem-solving Calm and flexible when schedules change Patient and supportive when working with children of different abilities Schedule Part-time, approximately 20-25 hours per week Hybrid combination of remote administrative work and in-person transportation Approximately one-third of scheduled hours will involve transporting students Afternoon transportation availability is required Occasional in-person meetings, family meet-and-greets and community events may be required Immediate availability is strongly preferred Compensation Compensation is based on the work being performed: Administrative duties: $22-$24 per hour depending on experience Transportation using an approved personal vehicle: $25 per hour Transportation using a GoVamo company vehicle: $18 per hour Hours and pay rates will be tracked according to the duties performed.
