Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Airboat Deckmate to join our team. As an Airboat Deckmate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our guests while navigating the beautiful waterways. This position requires a strong commitment to teamwork, customer service, and an appreciation for the unique environment in which we operate. Responsibilities Assist the captain in operating the airboat safely and efficiently. Ensure all safety equipment is in place and operational before each trip. Help passengers board and disembark from the airboat safely. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the airboat before, during, and after trips. Monitor weather conditions and report any concerns to the captain. Assist with any necessary maintenance tasks on the airboat as directed. Skills Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of boating operations is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration. Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in varying weather conditions.
