ABOUT THE POSITION
Delivery Driver is responsible for accurately packing and preparing cannabis orders for delivery while ensuring compliance with all state and company regulations. This role requires attention to detail to verify product accuracy, proper labeling, and secure packaging. Additionally, the driver assists with the delivery process by coordinating logistics, supporting drivers, and ensuring timely and compliant distribution of products. Strong organizational skills, adherence to safety protocols, and a commitment to regulatory compliance are essential in this role.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Pack and prepare cannabis products for delivery, ensuring all orders are accurate and meet company quality standards Verify product details, labels, and quantities before packaging to prevent errors and maintain compliance. Assist in organizing delivery schedules and coordinating with drivers to ensure on-time deliveries. Ensure all deliveries comply with state and local cannabis regulations, including verifying customer information and maintaining required documentation Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fulfillment area, following safety and sanitation protocols to uphold product integrity Assist with inventory tracking and restocking products, monitoring stock levels to prevent shortages or overages. Address any issues or discrepancies with deliveries as they arise, working with management to resolve concerns promptly. Follow all security and handling protocols to ensure the safe transport of cannabis products. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers and delivery personnel, ensuring a professional and positive experience. Operate within all compliance guidelines, including METRC tracking (if applicable) and record-keeping requirements. Support other delivery team members as needed to maintain workflow efficiency. Additional duties as assigned by management. Minimum Qualifications (Required): Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment and compliance with state regulations. Knowledge of cannabis regulations and compliance (preferred), including packaging, labeling, and delivery laws. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and compliance. Strong organizational and time-management skills to coordinate deliveries and maintain fulfillment workflow. Valid driver's license and clean driving record (if assisting with delivery). Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. Strong communication skills to coordinate with fulfillment teams, delivery personnel, and management. Basic computer proficiency to manage inventory tracking systems, delivery schedules, and compliance documentation. Ability to lift and carry packages of various weights safely and efficiently. Problem-solving skills to address order discrepancies or delivery challenges proactively. Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate and assist coworkers as needed. Additional Qualifications (Preferred): High school diploma or GED equivalent (required). Must be 21+ and able to pass required background checks. Previous experience in fulfillment, logistics, or delivery (preferred). Familiarity with cannabis industry regulations (preferred but not required). Experience with inventory management or using basic tracking systems is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
This role requires the ability to stand or sit for extended periods, perform repetitive hand and arm movements, and frequently bend or stoop. The employee must also be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Must have the ability to travel frequently for client visits or industry events.
