Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or hand trucks
• Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
• Verify the contents of each shipment against delivery documents and obtain signatures from customers
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle

Skills:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a related role (e.g., courier, van driver)
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures
• Ability to operate various types of delivery vehicles (e.g., box truck, van)
• Proficient in using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts for loading/unloading cargo
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate deliveries and documentation
• Physical stamina to lift and move heavy items as needed
