Delivery Driver

Description:

Delivery Driver The Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering and pick-up service to our clients. By loading, carrying, and delivering catering, bakery, deli products to businesses, residences, and other off-site locations.

Primary Responsibilities:

Load and unload catering, bakery and deli orders Delivery / Pick-up, set-up, serve and clean-up Company products while extending superior customer service Make deliveries to specified jobs and successfully completing request in a professional and timely manner. Keep in close contact with both the General and Bakery Manager, assuring the manager(s) knows location at all times. Adhere to traffic and safety laws by driving in a safe manner at all times, always-wearing safety seat belt. Report maintenance problems to the General Manager. Follow all safety regulations, precautions, and notifying manager of any traffic accidents or tickets. Wear all required and necessary Personal Protective Equipment. Driver will be issued a GPS, which they will need to be responsible for safeguarding. Keep vehicles clean inside and out. Performs other related work duties as assigned by manager(s). Other Responsibilities may also include cleaning and restocking in the Deli, restocking boxes and bags in the bakery, restocking products in the Bakery, organizing the bakery refrigerator and freezers, organizing the packaging containers.

Hours:

Full-Time and Part time positions - must be able to work days or evenings, with extended hours, weekends, holidays, as needed. Requirements:

At least 1 year of previous delivery driver experience Basic food knowledge and set-up for banquet/catering services, preferred. Valid California Drivers License (will need to provide proof upon interview) with zero points on record Ability to lift up to 50-pound boxes Ability to handle multiple task and work with minimal supervision Willingness to work in varying outdoors/indoor conditions Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with coworkers (verbally interacts with management, team members and guests.) Lift and carry deli and bakery trays, boxes, cakes, and other products weighing up to 50 lbs. Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing and lifting. Continuous use of hands and arms, along with bending, reaching, twisting. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. California Food Handler Card is required for all foodservice employees.
