6:45 AM to 1:00 PM (hours vary).Job Description:
Drive Box Truck for Mobile Food Pantry/ Assit driver Pick-up groceries and other goods from assigned retailers in early morning. Drive to distribution sites as instructed (will vary from day to day). Unload boxes and arrange as necessary at site. Responsible for truck cleanliness, proper refrigeration and storage of all fresh grocery items to avoid cross-contamination. Driver is also responsible for productivity and safety of volunteers on truck. Keep records of quantity of food picked-up and trip mileage etc. Contact Director with any problems, truck maintenance issues or schedule changes. Ability to lift and unload boxes up to 40 pounds is essential. Drivers must be professional and able to interact successfully with a wide variety of people.Time management:
