Delivery & Packaging SpecialistJob Description La Belle® French Bakery is a growing retail and wholesale bakery focused on bringing authentic French pastries to the state of Colorado. Every product is made from scratch using traditional French techniques, and we take pride in delivering exceptional quality and customer service every day. We're looking for a dependable and energetic Delivery & Packaging Specialist to join our team. This position is primarily responsible for delivering products to our retail and wholesale customers throughout the Denver metro area while providing outstanding customer service. Once deliveries are complete, you may assist our Packaging Department with preparing products for future deliveries. This flexible role allows you to become an important part of our production and logistics team while helping ensure daily operations run smoothly. Primary ResponsibilitiesDelivery (Approximately 85-90% of the role) Load the delivery vehicle each morning. Follow assigned delivery routes using company-provided routing software and GPS. Deliver products safely and accurately to retail and wholesale customers. Place products in customer freezers or designated storage areas. Maintain positive relationships with customers through professional and friendly service. Pick up products from vendors as needed. Keep delivery vehicles clean, organized, and fueled. Report delivery issues or customer concerns promptly. Follow all food safety and transportation procedures. Packaging Support (Approximately 10-15% of the role) When deliveries are completed early or additional support is needed, you may assist the Packaging Team with tasks such as: Folding boxes Packaging breads, pastries, and desserts Labeling and sealing boxes Organizing products for delivery Preparing delivery bags for the following day Assisting with product rotation Maintaining a clean and organized packaging area Packaging responsibilities will vary based on daily production needs and may not be required every shift. Desired Qualities & Skills Self-starter Positive attitude Reliable and punctual Strong work ethic Excellent communication skills Organized and detail-oriented Able to work independently and as part of a team Customer-service focused Comfortable adapting to changing daily priorities Requirements Clean driving record Minimum of 3 years of driving experience Valid driver's license Comfortable navigating Denver and surrounding areas Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Comfortable working in and out of freezer environments throughout the day Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift Schedule Part-Time Monday-Saturday availability based on business needs. Typical shift begins at 6:30 AM and ends once deliveries are complete. On some days, additional hours may be available by assisting the Packaging Department.
