Duties Safely operate our tanker trucks to deliver oil products across designated routes, including over-the-road (OTR) routes. Navigate delivery routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize efficiency and ensure timely arrivals. Comply with all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), hazardous materials regulations, and hazardous goods handling procedures. Load, secure, and unload cargo with precision, ensuring proper truck loading and unloading procedures are followed. Handle dangerous goods and hazardous materials according to safety standards and regulations. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure trucks are in optimal condition for safe operation. Skills Proven experience in delivery driving, truck driving, or freight transportation with a focus on logistics cargo handling. Strong knowledge of commercial truck driving regulations including FMCSA, DOT, hazard materials regulations, and safety protocols. Proficiency in operating tanker trucks with manual transmissions, Excellent route driving skills utilizing GPS navigation tools for efficient delivery scheduling. Experience with app-based delivery scheduling and routes Knowledge of hazardous materials handling procedures for dangerous goods transportation. Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual handling tasks as required. Strong commitment to safety compliance and adherence to all federal and state transportation regulations.
