Responsibilities Safely operate various vehicles including commercial trucks and automobiles to deliver products efficiently across designated routes Manage route driving schedules, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries while adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Communicate effectively with clients upon delivery, addressing their needs and building positive relationships Conduct heavy lifting using safe lifting practices to load and unload merchandise, ensuring proper handling of goods Upsell additional products or services when appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and sales goals Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, mileage logs, and delivery receipts in compliance with organizational standards Organize merchandise in the vehicle for optimal space utilization and easy access during deliveries Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial truck driving or automobile transportation preferred Strong knowledge of route driving, traffic laws, and DOT regulations for safe transportation practices Basic math skills for calculating pricing, measurements, and quantities accurately Proven ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices Excellent communication skills for client interaction and internal coordination Retail store experience or merchandising background is a plus for understanding product placement and presentation Ability to build strong customer relationships through friendly service and professional demeanor Organizational skills to manage schedules, documentation, and route planning efficiently Prior experience in sales or upselling techniques is advantageous but not required Embark on a rewarding career where your energy makes a difference!
